Dr Arthur SuvorovDr Arthur Suvorov (Manly Astrophysics and Uni. of Tübingen)

Arthur is Anadelaidian, but opted to move to Melbourne for his higher education - taking a first class honours degree at Monash Uni, in a double-dose of maths with physics on the side. He then jumped over to Melbourne Uni for his PhD, producing a thesis on various aspects of neutron star astrophysics in 2018.

Subsequently Arthur was awarded a Humboldt Fellowship in theoretical astrophysics at the University of Tübingen (Germany), which he took up just prior to the emergence of COVID-19. Despite the practical difficulties Arthur penned papers on relativistic astrophysics at a superluminal rate. He joined Manly Astrophysics on 1st July 2021 and will now spend 50% of his lockdowns in Australia and the other 50% in Tübingen.
